About me:
I first played paintball in spring of 1991 when I returned from a tour in Okinawa. I purchased two Sheridan PGP Pumps. A friend of mine and I played for a couple of months while I was on leave, then I reported to my next duty station in Florida. My guns got put away and I didn't get back into it until Easter of 2004 when I got some neighbors and friends to play in the woods behind my house. That was when Gang Green was born, but we were originally Aces High. After Hurricane Katrina, our team started to grow and is still growing.
We are comprised of many families like father/son(s), brothers, wives, and so on. There is also quite a few Air National Guard members on our team. That is what makes us so tight. When we bring a new member, we try to make them feel like family. My goal is for us to enjoy hanging around and bs'ing at the end of the day, not just pack our stuff up and hit the road.
My primary position is really Team Captain. I consider the rest of the team as my kids of a sort, no matter how old or young they are. My main goal is to make sure they are taken care of, equipment working, fed well, having a good time; then I pick up my equipment and play. It makes me feel good to know they are well taken care of.
My favorite position on the field is Sniper. I love seeing the look in someone's eyes when they get eliminated and have NO IDEA where it came from, or stepping up behind or next to someone and scaring the bejesus out of them when they KNOW noone was just standing next to them.
